If you are not a professional gardener or landscaper it can become really hard to maintain your garden. For many inexperienced gardeners the process of gardening and maintaining their lawn is filled with a lot of trial and error. Sadly a lot of plants die in the process. The reason for plants not lasting is usually caused such inexperienced gardeners and over watering them. As it is a known fact that plants can die if they get too much water or too less water. Knowing the right amount of water that should be given to the plants for such inexperienced gardeners can become extremely frustrating.

Given below are some of the simple tips for watering plants and knowing when and what the quantity of water should be. You can also find some here http://www.nlinc.ca/lawn-care-toronto/.

When should the plants be watered
Watering plants isn’t hard because all you need to do is provide the plants with water regularly. Sounds simple right? Wrong! It will help the plants live, but unfortunately it isn’t as simple as it seems. Watering the plants on a daily basis, after every two days or even on a weekly basis have different effects on different plants. Some plants need less and some need more. So how can one know to when the plants should be watered?

1.One of the simplest and most common ways to know when to water your plant needs water is by simply sticking your finger into the soil. If the soil is damp and cool then your plants don’t need water. If the soil is crumbly and dry then it is time to water them.
2.Pick up the plant (if you can). If it feels super heavy then the soil is probably soaked.
3.Always water your plants early morning because the water will be able to dry up during the day.

How should you water your plants

It’s crazy that we’re talking about watering plants but it really is the single most important thing you can do for your plants. All plants have their own water requirements which can only be met through different watering techniques such as:
1.Always keep in mind to water the soil and not the leaves except for such plants that need direct water. As plants drink water through their roots it is best to water the soil and not the plant itself.
2.Always water from the bottom rather than watering them from the top.

I had a lawn care emergency a few years back(3 years back). Found them literally down the street working on my neighbour’s lawn. They called their boss and he was more than willing for them to come over and squeeze me into their busy day! You guys saved my BBQ party! Since then I have been with them, and they have been great. Good guys, professional but communicative when they need to be. Never had a bad time with them!read more
